| After 11 years at OXXO, founder and 50% owner Eddie Uggla has decided to move on to new challenges. His holding was acquired by the staff of the company on July 1 and they now own 50% of the company. “This is a very satisfactory transaction,” says Managing Director and now part-owner Gunnar Lindbom. “We already had a committed and dedicated staff but now that we own part of the company it provides an extra stimulus to working for OXXO. It is going to require hard work and some sacrifices to continue the fantastic development of the past few years.” |
